In 1939, Jack Lupo, the great grandfather and company founder, began selling multi-family housing units from a small desk in the back of a barber shop in Brooklyn, New York.

His son, Vito Lupo later joined his father and expanded the business into a full scale brokerage firm specializing in industrial, commercial and apartment buildings.  Jack Lupo Realty was one of the most successful brokerage companies in Brooklyn, New York in the 1950’s and 1960’s.  Vito Lupo later moved his family to Boca Raton, Florida in 1972 acquiring a large portfolio of industrial and office properties.  

 

In 1982, Vito’s son, Jack Lupo re-established a new division of Jack Lupo Realty which was headquartered in downtown Boca Raton, Florida.    The company’s primary focus was land sales, commercial real estate development, investment sales, brokerage and property management.    During this period, his firm was continually ranked among the top-20 commercial brokerage offices in South Florida.

 

In the early 1990’s, Vito’s daughters, Linda Lupo and Rosann Lupo Muller began managing the family’s private real estate and financial investment portfolio.   The family real estate holdings include Walgreens, CVS Pharmacy, Tire Kingdom, Tires Plus, Wendy’s, Payless Shoes, FedEx, Pizza Hut, Mattress Firm and Pier 1 Imports.   This is the Lupo Investment Company organization known today.  

 

The next decade introduced the fourth generation of Lupo family members.  Jack’s son, Vito Lupo II, currently works in Washington, DC in real estate investment sales with a national company.  Linda’s son, Ozzie Lupo Rodriguez is working as a commercial real estate investment analyst in the Lupo Investment organization.
